My name is Steve and I live in a small village in the New Forest, just a few miles south of Salisbury, where I have a purpose built workshop.
Having always enjoyed working with wood since serving an apprenticeship in joinery, I then turned to engineering but continued to make anything I could out of wood! In more recent years, I took up wood turning and have made bowls, tea light holders, mushrooms and more – then I was asked to make some frames for a family member, which led me to want to learn more about picture framing.
A few years ago I attended an accredited course approved by the Fine Art Trade Guild and was lucky enough to be trained, on a one-to-one basis, by a multi award winning framer. Since that time I have continued with the picture framing (I never knew my wife had so many pictures suddenly needing a frame!) and now that I have my workshop set up, I am very much looking forward to providing you with a friendly and professional service.
